In order to add product functionality to your post type, you will need to carry out the following:
1.Navigate to the WooCommerce > Settings > Products > Custom Post Types section
2. On the custom post type that you wish to add the product post type functionality, click on the “Settings” button on the far right. Below is an example illustration for the Projects post type:
3. In the next screen, select your custom post type archive page. If you do not have one already, you will need to first set it up.
4. Enable the options “WooCommerce Template Loader” and “Enable this post type”
5. Save your changes.
Upon previewing your posts in your post type, they will now use the WooCommerce Product template files, thereby adding product-like functionality to them.
